What is the format of the program?
The program consists of three Seattle campus sessions that take place four months apart. Each session convenes on a Wednesday evening at a hosted dinner and concludes on Friday at 3 p.m. The proposed campus sessions for 2009 are March 11 to 13, June 10 to 12 and Oct. 8 to 10.
In addition, there are six online/audio conference sessions that take place between the campus sessions. Each lasts two hours and uses the Internet to connect via Yugma.com. Participants need to sign up in advance. Each online session includes:
- Introduction of new materials and their application to each participant's business
- Guest speakers who offer their organization's experiences with CSR
- Consultative learning that focuses on ways to advance selected participating organizations' CSR or case studies
How much time is involved?
The total time commitment for the program is eight days over nine months (6.5 Continuing Education Units). Additional optional reading is provided.

Are there sources of financial assistance available?
Frequently employers pay for continuing education of this scope. While certificate participants are ineligible for the University's financial aid programs, there are also private student loan programs offered by banks and other lenders.
