Yes.
What is the difference between the Case Management Certificate and Continuing Education Units (CEUs)?
The Case Management Certificate is a document that certifies you have participated in a 60-hour training course and have achieved the competencies of basic case management that are outlined in the course syllabus.
The Continuing Education Units are a measure of competency gained. You can earn the Certificate without the Continuing Education Units. However, if your employer needs a record of CEUs beyond the certificate itself, you will need to request a transcript.
Why would I want to earn Continuing Education Units?
Your current job or your profession may require you to earn a certain amount of continuing education each year. For example, if you are registered with Washington state as a licensed counselor, chemical dependency counselor or mental health counselor, you are required to earn a certain number of continuing education units per year.
Do I have to pay a fee in order to get my Continuing Education Units?
No, but in order to obtain a transcript, should you need one, you need to pay $7.
