Summary of Education and Relevant Experience

Linda Campbell founded Antioch’s teacher education program in 1991, the First Peoples’ program in partnership with the Muckleshoot Tribe in 2002 and the Early College High School Initiative for Native Youth in 2002. Her 12 books, translated into several languages, include Teaching and Learning Through Multiple Intelligences, Multiple Intelligences and Student Achievement, and Mindful Learning. Her experience includes 15 years of K–12 teaching, 20 years of higher education teaching and administration, serving as a restructuring consultant for the National Education Association, founding two alternative schools, presenting at national and international conferences, writing state education policy, consulting for the U.S. Department of Education, and as the recipient of 12 million dollars in grants for K-12 and higher education initiatives. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Native American Educational Advancement and works to increase higher education access for Native American and other underrepresented groups.
