Kate Davies
Kate Davies, D.Phil., director and faculty member in the Center for Creative Change – Davies’ focus is environmental health, more specifically the effects of toxic chemicals and children’s environmental health. She has written extensively about environmental contaminants in Washington state and the economic costs of diseases and disabilities attributable to those contaminants. Her expertise also includes environmental policy and decision making, toxicology, sustainable development and transformative learning.

Jonathan Scherch
Jonathan Scherch, Ph.D., MSW, core faculty in the Center for Creative Change – Scherch is a social worker and permaculture teacher and designer involved in local through international sustainable living and community development initiatives. His areas of expertise and writing involve food, water and renewable energy systems, climate change and peak oil actions, environmental education, ecological design and bioregional studies.
