President Cassandra Manuelito-Kerkvliet, Ph.D., came to Antioch University Seattle in 2007, bringing with her a wealth of experience in higher education, including serving as
the first woman president of Diné College,
the first tribally controlled community college, located in Tsaile, Arizona.

Members of the President’s Team
Douglas Arnold, Ph.D., dean of academic outreach and enrollment services, joined Antioch University Seattle in the fall of 2006 with over 30 years experience in higher education. His background includes extensive experience on both the academic and administrative sides of the academy. On the academic side, he spent over 15 years as a faculty member, department chair, dean, and vice president of academic affairs. In his administrative capacity, he has served as a director, vice president of administration and president.
Wendy Dahl, M.A., executive assistant to the president and assistant secretary, board of trustees, joined Antioch University Seattle in 1997. She brings to her position experience as a university staff member, as a graduate student and as an alumna with a degree in Psychology.
David Fagerlie, M.S.W., vice president of institutional advancement, joined Antioch University Seattle in 2008. His career includes executive positions at several United Way agencies, the American Tinnitus Association and Alumni Affairs at University of Washington. As a consultant, Fagerlie worked with the Seattle Symphony and the Seattle Chinese Garden collaboration.
Catherine Koverola, Ph.D., interim vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty, came to Antioch University Seattle in 2007 serving for two years as the Dean of the School of Applied Psychology, Counseling and Family Therapy. She brings a breadth of expertise as a research scholar, educator and university administrator as well as extensive experience in clinical service delivery with cross cultural populations. Richard Norris, M.A., special assistant to the president, joined Antioch University Seattle in 1988. He has a B.A. in Math Education and an M.A. in Education with a focus on student services.
Betsy Raleigh, M.B.A., vice president for administration and finance, joined Antioch University Seattle in 2009. She worked for several years in the oil industry in Alaska and then for the past 13 years in various significant administrative responsibilities at the University of Washington including Administrator to the Dean of the School of Business where she was responsible for budget and finance, audits and compliance, purchasing, facility management of four buildings, human resources and emergency management.
Sharon Sernius, B.A., administrative assistant to the president, joined Antioch University Seattle in 1998 which provides her with a wealth of experience in her role as staff here to serve Antioch's students.
